United Petroleum is an independent Australian owned petrol and convenience company which specialises in retail and wholesale fuel markets, convenience stores and ethanol manufacture. It is one of the fastest growing independent companies in Australia.

Bayliss Electrical Group has been working closely with our builders through the construction of this new Petrol Station in Naval Base.

We’ve completed the following scopes of work:
– Electrical Power and Lighting
– Power distribution
– Data and communications
– Back up support
– Mechanical Air-conditioning through split cassette systems
– Refrigeration including the supply and installation of the cool rooms and freezer room
– Temperature and sensor control

Above ground building works included the installation of all power and lighting throughout the convenience store, rearward truck bay canopy and main LV canopy and external bin stores. Contract works also included the internal fit-outs of the station and all lighting poles and carpark lighting.

In ground works were notable in terms of the challenges faced. Situated close to the seaway, the site had a high amount of limestone in the ground which required larger than standard machinery and rock breakers.
